Make your own homemade Play Dough and Silly Putty with our easy recipes!

Play Dough
1 Cup Flour
1 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Salt
1 Tablespoon Cooking Oil
2 Tablespoons Cream of Tartar
Food coloring or Kool-Aid® mix

Mix together the ingredients in a saucepan until all lumps are gone. Add your coloring until the mixture is the desired color. Slowly heat the mixture stirring constantly. When the dough starts to pull away from the side of the pan, remove from heat. Knead for 3 minutes when cool. Store in an air tight container in refrigerator. When your play dough dries out, just add a little bit of water a few drops at a time and knead together until the desired consistency is reached.

Silly Putty
1 part Elmer's Glue®
1 part Corn Starch
Food coloring, if desired

Mix glue and starch together in a bowl. Add a few drops of food coloring. Mix well. Knead for a few minutes. Refrigerate when not in use.
